Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents the results of a research conducted in purpose to analyze the defects and potential damages on aircraft parts due to flight environment, specifically for aircraft intake/ inlet pipes as parts subjected to the conditions of altitude flights. The objectives are set to do numerically analyzing of an aircraft inlet pipe structure with defects/ damaged by cracks, through mathematical modeling and numerical simulations for structural analysis and to investigate the consequent impact of crack damaged aircraft structure on adaptive customized maintenance planning. The results of numerical simulations for structural analysis are post-processed and correlated with safety provisions for civil and military aviation, further resulting a customized aircraft maintenance planning, which features adaptivity from the standpoint of crack detection, monitoring and plan for crack mitigation, repair and removal. |
