description In this work using the example of the analysis of the existing method for determining the physical and mechanical properties of various liquids, it was possible to show the elimination of which errors led to a really accurate understanding of the mechanism of deformation processes occurring in nature. And the method proposed for evaluating their characteristics taking into account the discrete structure made it possible to theoretically derive the viscosity equation, showing, using the example of water, a clear and distinct mechanism of internal resistance inherent in different media, which manifested itself as a result of taking into account the energy of internal interaction of kinetic units that determine the structure of these media. The purpose of this work is to show in detail based on the results of the analysis of various approaches to the study of the physical and mechanical properties of material bodies, starting with Newton’s approaches, using examples that their properties are determined both by the binding energy with neighboring kinetic units and by the internal energy in kinetic units. At the same time, the ratio of these energies just determines the properties of a particular material or liquid, including resistance to external influence due to overcoming the so-called potential barrier leading to the displacement of kinetic units to a new equilibrium state. Understanding this mechanism made it possible to carry out a theoretical derivation of the viscosity equation, which is capable of describing the behavior of these material media in all modes of their deformation, eliminating the so-called anomalous manifestation of their properties. This allowed not only to carry out high-precision calculations, but also opened up the possibility of creating a mathematical model that takes into account the structure of material media, which, in turn, contributes to the creation of materials with specified physical and mechanical properties.
