Zusammenfassung: | The study was conducted to determine the gross morphology and morphometric testes of two chicken genotypes. Ten adult chickens from two genotypes (five cemani and five white leghorn roosters) were used in the study. Chickens before being slaughtered are quarantined for two weeks, stabilized for a week, then slaughtered in a halal way. After careful evisceration, the testes are examined, and then the weight, length, width, and circumference of the testes are recorded. Photographs were taken using a smartphone camera (Redmi note 8.2). The two genotypes had almost the same gross morphological and morphometric patterns. The mean weight, length, width, and circumference testes of the two genotypes studied were not significantly different (P>0.05) from each other, except for the Gonado Somatic Index (GSI) (P |
