description The article presents the results of an experimental study conducted to assess the influence of the diameter of the sensitive element of the sensor on the mass measurement error. The work used elements of probability theory and mathematical statistics, as well as the basic postulates of metrology. As a result of evaluating the influence of the diameter of the sensitive element of the load cell Ø27+ 0.05 on the mass measurement error, it had found that a change in the diameter of the hole on which the load cell has located affects the main measurement error mainly at the upper loading points. Increasing the diameter slightly increases the sensitivity of the device, while decreasing it reduces it. The variation stays the same when measuring the load cell diameter. The conducted studies show that the studied sensors have suitable as corresponding to the 3rd accuracy class.
