Zusammenfassung: | There is a growing research interest ultimately seeking clean renewable resources utilizing solar still. Much research has been conducted in order to improve solar still efficiency. However, there is still room for further research in this matter. The aim of this research paper is to improve the work of passive solar still by conducting several experiments. Based on that aim, flat plate fins with several static magnets in a single or double phase were used and compared to reach the highest efficiency that can be obtained while the work of the solar still remains passive. In addition, this work aims also to clarify the differences in temperature in separate locations as well as explain the differences in the presence or absence of these additions inside the solar still. It was found that there is an increase in temperature which is accompanied by an increase in the rate of water evaporation, and thus an increase in the efficiency of the solar still. |
