The treatments given were various levels of adding garlic skin flour mixed in the feed, namely P0 (without giving garlic skin flour), P1 (adding 4% garlic skin flour mixed in the feed), P2 (adding 5% garlic skin flour mixed in the feed). The treatment started when the chickens were 1 day old until the age of 10 weeks, with 2 days interval. The variables observed included feed consumption, body weight gain, body weight at harvest age, feed conversion (FCR), mortality, and the presence of endoparasites/worms in feces. The results showed that the addition of garlic skin flour had a very significant effect (P0.05) on the consumption variable. The P1 treatment which is the addition of 4% garlic skin flour resulted in the best performance for Ayam Kampung Super. Treatment P1 with the addition of 4% garlic skin flour during 10 weeks of rearing showed healthier chickens which experience 0% mortality and there were no endoparasite worms of the Ascaridia galli type, while chicken with P0 and P2 treatments were found to be positive for Ascaridia galli starting at 6 weeks of age. |
