description | Water scarcity and Malaysia is synonym to each other. Interestingly this country receives approximately 3000mm of precipitation every year yet, it does not change fact that drought still occurs annually. Although the study of water resources management has been done aggressively, the results seems to be used only for literature purposes and rarely been apply to concur the problem. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the research pattern of water level specifically on dam which focused on the publication outcome includes the authors, country and keywords using Scopus database. From 1961 to 2022 a total of 1241 journal articles were retrieved. The finding shows that the number of publications on water level at dam increased dramatically on 2014 with 21% of annual growth rate. China is the leading country in publishing articles related to water level followed by United States and Malaysia is at 16th place. This paper presents results that help researchers not only for their literature but helps in narrow down their studies in the future. |
