E-Government service using tourism web information application

E-Government plays an important role in utilizing information technology to provide services for public. One of the uses of this concept is carried out by local governments to disseminate information about cultural events, tourism and general matters related to the city. This study aims to determine whether this application helps the community in terms of usability and convenience. Furthermore, the factors that influence the use of web applications are also extended in this study by using perceptions of trust, attitudes, and intention to use which refers to the technology acceptance model (TAM). Data were collected using an online survey of Jabodetabek community and then processed and analysed. The results of this measurement show that Perceived easy of use has a significant influence on Perceived Usefulness to use of this system thus it is very important to enhance the features of this web information system periodically so that it always suits the needs of users. Analysis of this application is needed so that it can provide feedback to stakeholders to be able to improve services to users.
