Zusammenfassung: | Chemical spray pyrolysis (CSP) was employed to create nanostructured Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) thin films with varying doping levels at 340oC substrate temperature. The impact of sulfur (Ag) concentration on the structural, topographical, and optical properties of ZnS thin films were examined For pure ZnS and ZnS: Ag films, the energy gap was reduced from 3.48 eV to 3.38 eV and it was discovered to have a red change in it as a result of Ag doping. AFM reveals that after Ag doping, the average surface roughness of these films decreases from 6.87nm to 3.19nm. The structural properties show that pure and ZnS:Ag have a cubic shape with an average crystallite size of 10.65–12.05 nm. |
