Export specialization of railway engineering of Russian macro-regions

The export specialization of Russian railway engineering in the context of federal districts and individual product positions for 2018-2020 was analyzed by calculating the conditional export capacity per piece of production. An inter-district comparison was made within each product position. The analysis made it possible to compare the development of production and exports before and during the pandemic and to compare the work of production for domestic and for external markets. The analysis also found cases of similar and distinct statistics of federal districts. The analysis has shown, that for most product positions, either there are districts whose specific export capacity has a comparable value, or districts can be grouped by export capacity values.
