Zusammenfassung: | Composite steel-concrete beams have been shown to have superior structural properties in terms of stiffness and strength after compared to reinforced concrete or steel beams alone. Nonetheless, most steel beams are currently completely attached to the concrete slab, indicating that the connectors are welded through the steel decking on to the steel beam and casting into the concrete slab to provide the necessary shear connection, but the composite behavior differs significantly in fire than in normal conditions. This paper focuses on a review of recent studies that revolve around the structural behavior of composite beam systems and their behavior in fire events through numerical and experimental studies in order to address the efficiency and applicability of composite beams. |
