Zusammenfassung: | M-type calcium hexaferrite with trivalent Al3+ ions were synthesized utilizing a solgel microwave aided combustion method using metal nitrates salt and reaction fuel as urea. Within 3 minutes, the gel formation process at 80°C and martial combustion at 850°C is completed. The nanopowders were prepared by grinding for 5 hours, calcining at 600°C, and analyzing with XRD, SEM, and VSM. The production of nano Al substituted calcium hexaferrite with a verified structural analysis with a space group of 194. The average particle size was determined and confirmed in the nanometer range. Impedance analyzers investigated bulk samples' D.C. and A.C. conductivity at various temperatures. The particle crystallite size reduces from 14.36nm to 22.12nm, appropriate for magnetic recording. The particles have hexagonal platelet morphology, as shown in SEM pictures. The doping of Al ions alters the magnetic characteristics of the samples, making the material ideal for longitudinal and perpendicular magnetic recording. Also, hexaferrite's increased resistivity has potential applications in microwave devices. |
