description A numerical study of the heat transfer process in a plate heat exchanger with an improved plate shape is carried out, taking into account the characteristics obtained experimentally. The considered model is the most effective, since with such a configuration of the plates, a higher thermal efficiency is achieved, while avoiding significant pressure losses, in contrast to plates with channels with zigzag and smooth plates, in the calculation of which a high value of thermal efficiency was accompanied with a strong increase in pressure losses.
