description | Blood storage is a process to maintain the freshness and quality of blood after being collected from a donor. In this research, a blood storage device was made from Peltier as a cooler. With this blood storage device, the quality and freshness of the blood will be better because it is stored at a temperature of 2 to 6 °C. When the module is turned on, the power supply will supply electricity to the entire circuit, and the Peltier will suck hot air inside the device, which results in a clotting effect that can cool the blood bag. Also, the temperature on the device is displayed on a 2x16 LCD and read by the LM 35 sensor. The tests showed that the lowest temperature was 3.9 °C, and it was still within the normal blood storage temperature range with a temperature error of 9.6 %. |
