Development of learning media microsoft powerpoint based on visual basic for application (VBA)

This study aims to develop and produce learning media using Microsoft PowerPoint based on Visual Basic for Application (VBA) that is valid, practical, and effective on flat-shaped materials in class VII MTs PSA Sunan Kalijogo Randuagung, Lumajang for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 30 students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that the validity of the learning media was 4.54 with a very good or valid category. This study indicates that Microsoft PowerPoint learning media based on Visual Basic for Application (VBA) is classified as medium category, which indicates that this learning media is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes so that this media is feasible to use with valid, practical, and effective categories. So that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores because t-count>t-table and N -gain were obtained at 0.505 with a medium category, which means that Microsoft PowerPoint media based on Visual Basic for Application (VBA) can improve student learning outcomes.
