Failure of rigid pavement at different locations of Hussainganj – Hathgaon –Alipur section of MDR no.81-C in district Fatehpur of Utter Pradesh

In present India scenario the construction of rigid concrete pavement is widely adopted, since the strength and durability is very high when compared to other types of pavements. But the main disadvantage in the rigid concrete pavement is its initial construction cost and the consumption of resources is very high. The rigid concrete pavement has a wide range of applications starting from pedestrian walking pavement to the movement of heavy vehicular transportation. The concrete pavement is a recent advancement type of the rigid concrete pavement without the presence of fine aggregates. The concrete pavement is good in drainage since their permeability is very high and hence the pervious concrete pavements are used in the urban area where the streets are narrow and provision for a separate surface drainage system becomes very difficult. The research study is being concentrated on failure of rigid pavement at different locations of Hussainganj – Hathgaon -Alipur section of MDR no.81 C in district Fatehpur of Utter Pradesh.
