description The article offers an expanded interpretation of the concepts of blockchain and cryptocurrency in view of their possible application in the management practice of economic entities of different levels, primarily united territorial communities (UTC). The experience of introduction of blockchain technologies in the international financial sector and the sphere of public administration in Ukraine is systematized. Global and national factors that shape the demand for the use of blockchain technology at the UTC level have been identified. It is determined that their implementation will increase the level of international attractiveness of UTC both for non-resident investors and local businesses from other regions. The advantages and risks that will accompany the introduction of these technologies in modern Ukraine have been identified. The first microsimulation model «e-Community» was developed and substantiated. It is hypothesized to minimize financial, informational and social losses through the active use of blockchain in the management of united territorial communities. This article will be useful for community leaders and middle managers of the state apparatus.
