Zusammenfassung:This paper reports the results of studies of the morphology, element composition and radiopacity of the TiNi wire samples after an electron-beam treatment and with Ti-Ta-based coating. It has been found that the surface treatment by the electron beam leads to the surface smoothing and cleaning from impurity elements—oxygen, carbon. It has been established that, the continuous Ti-Ta coating (with a thickness of 1 µm) with a tantalum content of about 30 at. % formed by means of magnetron deposition on the TiNi wire samples surface with a diameter of 150 µm increases the radiopacity of the initial sample by 2 times.
