Zusammenfassung:The modeling of atmospheric dispersion is an interesting tool of analysis for the monitoring of a site and this paper has permitted the creation of an operational computer code ensuring the follow-up of pollutants on an industrial or nuclear (I/N) site. We have developed a numerical model to calculate the emissions generated by the chimneys (point sources) and the dispersion of these emissions in the surrounding area of an I/N site. This model is based by the Gaussian model which is a standard approach for studying the transport of airborne contaminants due to advection by the wind. Results obtained by this model are presented under various annual parameters as; wind, wind direction, stabilities, gas flow and geometrical characteristics of chimney. The objective of this work is to show the computer code developed validities by comparing the results obtained for different points of meshes. In general, the predicted results seem to be quite may prove to be a valuable tool in estimating the extent of air pollution.
