Zusammenfassung: | I have been in charge of editing the Institute of African Studies' Research Review since 1999, beginning with New Series Volume 15, and I had been involved in the editorial process for a number of years before that. It has been an interesting and a rewarding experience, and it is gratifying to note that over the past ten years the periodical has gradually become better established as a continental peer-reviewed journal, drawing contributors and readers from many parts of Africa and elsewhere, while its main focus continues to be on research in the humanistic disciplines with reference to West Africa generally and Ghana in particular. |
