Zusammenfassung:Springhares were collected monthly from September 1971 to August 1973 in Botswana. Growth of the reproductive tract of male springhares is descriptionbed relative to dried eye lens mass. A testis mass of 2,3g, dried baculum mass of 41mg, and seminiferous tubule diameter of 117um can be used to separate prepubertal from postpubertal males. Unlike many other rodents, the male springhare does not undergo seasonal peaks in breeding activity.
