Zusammenfassung:A novel method for the construction of β,β-disubstituted indanones has been developed via tandem Nakamura addition-hydroarylation-decarboxylation process. Indium( iii ) triflate was demonstrated as a versatile multitasking catalyst, which catalyzes three different chemical transformations under one-pot conditions. An indium-catalyzed, novel method for the generation of β,β-disubstituted indanones was described. Indium( iii ) trifluoromethanesulfonate is reported as the multitasking catalyst that promotes tandem Nakamura addition-hydroarylation-decarboxylation process under one-pot conditions.
