2,7-Disubstituted-1,8-naphthyridine derivatives have been found to self-assemble into infinite 1-D tapes in the solid state in a manner similar to that seen previously for their 2,6-disubstituted pyridine analogues. 2,7-Disubstituted-1,8-naphthyridine derivatives have been found to self-assemble into infinite 1-D tapes in the solid state in a manner similar to that seen previously for the 2,6-disubstituted pyridine analogues.
