Zusammenfassung:We present a patient who exemplifies the interplay of factors contributing to the development of venous-type thoracic outlet syndrome. The patient was treated with both radiation and chemotherapy for squamous cell carcinoma in the head and neck region; radiation and chemotherapy have been known to damage the vascular system. Multimodality treatment is necessary to achieve good long-term results in these complex patients.
