< .05), and health-related quality of life scores increased significantly in both groups at 1 year after surgery (
< .05). Improvement in symptom severity and health quality was higher in the laparoscopy group; however, this was not statistically different from the robotic myomectomy group (
> .05).
Laparoscopic and robotic myomectomy provide significant reductions in fibroid-associated symptom severity and significant improvement in quality of life at 1 year after surgery. The rate of improvement was comparable for both procedures. |
