The pros and cons of each method are presented. The paper also discusses new techniques for diagnosing pneumothorax, such as fluorescein-enhanced autofluorescence thoracoscopy (FEAT) and infrared thoracoscopy. Finally, the authors propose their own algorithm for the treatment of PSP.
