BMA criticises delay in implementing Calman report

The Joint Committee on Higher Surgical Training has completed it preparation of the training programmes in each specialty and reported this to the senate of the royal surgical colleges of Britain and Ireland on 19 July; the outline arrangements will now be forwarded to the Department of Health.
