Estimating urinary albumin excretion rate of diabetic patients in clinical practice

An increase in urinary albumin excretion predicts impending renal failure in diabetic patients. A study found that because of the wide variability in urinary albumin excretions, several samples should be analyzed to obtain a reasonably accurate estimate of urinary clinical practice.
