Increased Aflatoxin G1 Production by Aspergillus Flavus Via Gamma Irradiation
Exposure of toxigenic Aspergillus flavus spores to specific gamma radiation levels induced higher yields of aflatoxin G 1 from the developing cultures per unit of time, while nontoxigenic A. flavus cultures remained unaltered with respect to their toxigenic properties.
