Rhodocaloribacter litoris gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from an intertidal hot spring

Red-pigmented strains of non-sporeforming, aerobic, chemoorganotrophic bacteria were isolated from intertidal hot springs in Laugarvík, NW-Iceland.
