Introducing IAAP Board Chair Dierdre Crowl, CAP

For the past 19 years, incoming Board Chair Dierdre Crowl has lived a fairy tale life achieved through hard work, innate intelligence, and inner resilience. Not new to the IAAP Board, this Maryland based executive knows that it won't be easy to empower the world of administrative work for what's ahead. That may be easier said than done, given that artificial intel ligence is nipping at the heels of millions of administrative jobs, and other issues loom as well. Without hesitation, however, Crowl says she is ready to engage. Crowl was still searching for an opportunity when her door of fortune opened when she was 38. She was offered an entry-level position as a marketing assistant at KCI Technologies. She accepted and then ran with it.
