Zusammenfassung:Figures 3a and 3b show the temperature profile, scale and decarburization of the billets as they traverse the length of the furnace. The variations of discharge temperature and thermal uniformity of the billets with discharge rate are shown in Fig. 4a. The billets are discharged colder as the discharge rate increases, and the temperature variation within the billet rises sharply.
