Sunlight and disinfectants: Prosecutorial accountability and independence through public transparency

MacFarlane advances the thesis that in the context of the Canadian tradition, independence does not necessarily require legislatively based mechanisms. Rather, accountability through public transparency can achieve the level of prosecutorial independence required.
