Update: Hantavirus Infection — United States, 1993

Information regarding an outbreak of respiratory illness associated with hantavirus infection is updated, and information on a case of unexplained adult respiratory distress syndrome in a person who resided in eastern Texas is offered. A CDC editorial note is presented.
