A novel solution-phase approach to nanocrystalline niobates: selective syntheses of Sr0.4H1.2Nb2O6 times H2O nanopolyhedrons and SrNb2O6 nanorods photocatalysts

A novel solution-phase route using Nb2O5 times nH2O as precursor was developed to selectively synthesize single-crystalline Sr0.4H1.2Nb2O6 times H2O nanopolyhedrons and SrNb2O6 nanorods photocatalysts via simply adjusting pH values of the reactive solutions.
