Luminescence and Optical-Memory model of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ and Sr4Al14O25:Eu2+,Dy3

The photoluminescence, luminescence excitation, and phosphorescence spectra of SrAl 2 O 4 :Eu 2+ ,Dy 3+ and Sr 4 Al 14 O 25 :Eu 2+ ,Dy 3+ powder phosphors have been studied in detail at 80 and 300 K. A conceptual model is proposed for strontium-aluminate-based optical memory.
