Choice of the optimal laser for controlled thermal separation of oxide glasses
The use of mid-IR range lasers (3-7 µm) for controlled laser thermal separation of oxide classes is analyzed. It is shown that CO lasers (5.1-6.2 µm) greatly improve the quality of this technology.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
