Surface-Initiated Phase Separation-Fabrication of Two-Layer Organic Light-Emitting Devices in a Single Processing Step

The use of surface‐initiated phase separation (SIPS) for simple and cost‐effective fabrication of solution‐processed multilayer organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) is presented. In a mixture of a cross‐linkable and a non‐cross‐linkable compounds the first one will be cross‐linked surface‐induced....

Zusammenfassung:The use of surface‐initiated phase separation (SIPS) for simple and cost‐effective fabrication of solution‐processed multilayer organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) is presented. In a mixture of a cross‐linkable and a non‐cross‐linkable compounds the first one will be cross‐linked surface‐induced. This causes a phase‐separation of the two materials. A two‐layer device is generated out of a single deposition step.
