Zusammenfassung: | A 2D electrodynamic structure formed as a small-period lattice of anisotropically conducting strips located in parallel planes is considered. For the case of the TE polarization, the effective constitutive parameters of the structure are calculated. It is shown that the permittivity of the metamaterial is negative and that, near the resonance frequency of a single strip, there is a transparency band where the diagonal elements of the permeability tensor have opposite signs. |
