Zusammenfassung: | Several types of vibration control using piezoelectric materials exist. The method used here is Synchronized Switching Damping (SSD). It offers several advantages, for example a multimodal damping is achievable without complex circuits. This paper deals with the application of the SSD techniques to the vibration control of a clamped board. An example of possible application is an embedded electronic Printed Circuit Board.
The experimental structure is exposed. A model taking into account the multimodal behaviour of the structure is then developed. After that, two different improvements are presented in order for the SSD techniques to accept a multimodal excitation. Finally, theoretical and experimental results are compared. Both show an attenuation of, respectively, 20 dB, 6 dB and 8 dB on the three first flexion modes of the board simultaneously. |
