Zusammenfassung:In this article the author presents the approaches of Emile Durkheim re his analysis of social values as a pert of a collective representation, & the taking part in the regulation of social attitudes. The article shows that the problems of values & ideals regarded them within the confines of the approaches towards the realities of both types. The author believes that Durkheim was convinced that the forms of collective foundations have the capability of existing independently from these individual expressions. The article also reveals the defining changes of the understood priorities of Durkheim, in connection with his working out of the "social theory of values" that permitted the French sociologist the new position to explain the problems of relationships between the individual & society. Then, the article states that in modern sociology, there is still a certain significance to Durkheim conclusion that social ideals change from age to age, together with the changes in the worldview or outlook of social groups.
