Zusammenfassung: | This work aims to describe, from a discursive approach, how two popular science magazines, Superinteressante and Pesquisa Fapesp, employ reported speech in their reports. The description of this specific trace -- how the voice of others is materialized on the genre report of these magazines -- is part of a larger work, which aimed to characterize two distinct manners of divulging science for the general public. To do so, we assumed, based on the French Discourse Analysis, specifically on the notion of global semantics (Maingueneau, 1984), that by analyzing signs on the textual surface, it is possible to identify the discursive processes that characterize both publications. Therefore, identifying the most common types of reported speech for each publication was a relevant step in this research. Adapted from the source document |
