Intractable malignant ascites: an alternative management option

Recurrent malignant ascites is a common management problem in oncology and palliative care. Here, we describe a case of malignant ascites managed by insertion of a Tenckhoff Catheter (TC), which resulted in successful symptomatic control and improvement in quality of life.
