Zusammenfassung: | A continuous wave of ultrasound through larynx is used to determine the fundamental frequency of the vocal folds during normal speech. The variation of the ultrasound intensity transmitted between two matched transducers through the vocal fold level is recorded. The apparatus used for these recordings is described. Different transducer positions are investigated, and further, the transducer geometry is discussed. |
