Zusammenfassung: | A rare case of bilateral multiple fibromas of the ovaries occurring before the menarche is described. Three months after surgery she experienced her first menstrual period. The 17-ketosteroids and the 17-ketogenic steroids were normal. The theory that the development of ovarian fibromas is stimulated by the hemorrhage into the follicle after ovulation cannot hold true for this case. Thecal cell origin of these tumors seems the most likely source. |
