Zusammenfassung:	Evidence for the following facts is presented and discussed. 1. 1. Colchicine blocks the expression of thymidine kinase and DNA polymerase activities in ConA-stimulated bovine lymphocytes. 2. 2. Initiation of RNA synthesis in ConA-stimulated lymphocytes is inhibited by colchicine. Colchicine also prevents the continuation of RNA synthesis when added less than 20 h after beginning of the proliferation process.
