Zusammenfassung:A melanoma primary in the nasal mucosa is an infrequent tumor [ I]. Its subsequent metastasis to neck nodes is not remarkable, but its later spread beyond the clavicles to a single viscus and for that viscus to be spleen is unusual. This report is of such an event in which the splenic metastases were hemorrhagic enough to necessitate replenishing transfusions and emergency laporatomy.
