Health inequalities in the UK

A more recent study3 found that the QOF has had a demonstrable effect on outcome indicators such as heart attacks and deaths; the effect was strongest in practices in the most deprived areas, which had more than twice the reduction in admissions and deaths from coronary heart disease.
