Preliminary Phytochemical Investigation of Euphorbia millii

Euphorbia millii (Des Moulins) was investigated. β-Sitosterol, cycloartenol, and β-amyrin acetate were isolated from the petroleum ether extract. The presence of lupeol and euphol as minor constituents was demonstrated by GC, and the existence of flavonoids in the methanol extract was shown.
