The characteristics, isolation and synthesis of the phagocytosis stimulating peptide tuftsin

The phagocytosis stimulating peptide present in γ-globulin has been isolated and its amino acid sequence shown to be L-threonyl-L-lysyl-L-prolyl-L-arginine. It was synthesized by the solid phase technic.
